From Goodreads(image and blurb):
Marina has been through a lot in the past year; she knows what she wants, and she decides to take matters into her own hands to get it. When a twist of fate takes her away from Aptos, she returns to find that her whole world has changed once again. A fortune teller’s ominous prediction seems to be coming true, people around her aren’t who they appear to be, and to top it all off, she’s being followed again.
Marina and Ethan only want to be together, but find they are being torn apart by their very natures. Can they overcome a final obstacle to build the future they dream of?
This is the final book in the Marina Tales, and after reading The Fate of the Muse I had to read this one. I had to figure out how the series ended! This was a good finish to the series, it ties up the loose ends and doesn't leave you with the feeling that it is incomplete. Actually I was very happy with the final part of the book, which my reaction was "way to go"!
Again this is a continuation of the story, which picks up right where The Fate of the Muse left off. Marina does find her purpose in life, and honestly it helps her out in the end. This is where her stubbornness pays off, even if it does cause her some trouble too.
I got to say that finishing the series was a great experience and Derrolyn did a great job creating it! I am very happy to have read all the books and look forward to her future endevors. The series and this book gets my excellent rating!
